The emergence of antibiotic resistance poses a significant global health threat, necessitating the development of new strategies for optimizing antibiotic usage. Pharmacokinetic studies play a crucial role in understanding the behavior of antibiotic drugs within the body, aiding in dosage regimen design, efficacy assessment, and the mitigation of resistance. Liquid Chromatography- Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) has emerged as a powerful analytical technique for the quantitative determination of antibiotics in biological matrices.
