Abstract:
Biomedical waste, also known as hospital waste is the waste generated from healthcare facilities. It contains infectious agents, radioactive waste, chemical agents, and sharps. Improper management of this waste can result in the spread of infections, contamination of water and soil, and other health hazards. Hence, proper disposal of this waste is essential to protect healthcare workers, patients, and the general public from the potential harm.
