Abstract:
Emotional intelligence (EI) has emerged as a critical competency in the modern workplace, influencing employee performance, leadership effectiveness, and overall organizational success. This review article explores human resource (HR) strategies to enhance emotional intelligence among employees. It examines the importance of EI in workplace dynamics, identifies key HR practices that foster EI, and evaluates the impact of these strategies on employee well-being and productivity. The paper draws on 30 peer-reviewed studies published within 2023 to provide a comprehensive analysis of effective HR interventions. The findings suggest that targeted training programs, leadership development initiatives, and performance management systems focused on emotional regulation and social awareness significantly enhance EI levels in employees, contributing to improved job satisfaction and reduced workplace conflict.
