Abstract:
Work stress has emerged as a pervasive challenge in human resource management, influencing employee well-being, productivity, and organizational performance. Work stress stems from various sources, including workload, job insecurity, poor organizational culture, and lack of managerial support. The negative impact of work stress on employee well-being manifests in both physical and mental health issues, decreased job satisfaction, and increased turnover rates. This review synthesizes findings from 2018 to 2022, exploring the multifaceted relationship between work stress and employee well-being. The study employs a systematic literature review and data analysis to identify key stressors and coping mechanisms. Findings suggest that human resource policies focused on work-life balance, employee engagement, and mental health support play a critical role in mitigating stress and improving overall employee well-being.
