Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a progressive lung condition characterized by persistent respiratory symptoms and airflow limitation. Inflammatory and oxidative stress pathways are critically involved in the pathogenesis of COPD. This paper explores the role of inflammatory and redox biomarkers in COPD through insights gained from mouse studies. The paper reviews key biomarkers, their implications for lung function, and how mouse models have contributed to our understanding of COPD pathophysiology.
