Abstract:
The objective of this project is to optimize the management of student data, encompassing attendance and academic advancement, by implementing mobility and automation into the current process. Conventional communication channels such as bulletin boards and verbal messages no longer suffice in today's fast-paced environment. Therefore, this project proposes the development of an Android-based mobile application that facilitates quicker and more convenient communication between students, teachers, and parents. The application functions as a centralized platform that stores and offers access to diverse academic information, rendering it more effective and accessible to all stakeholders. The application features a user-friendly interface for students to submit and access assignments, view attendance and grades, and engage with teachers. Parents can also monitor their child's academic progress, attendance, and communicate with teachers. The system eliminates the limitations of prior systems that stored information either in hard copy or on websites that were difficult to access and required substantial navigation time. The proposed Android-based system presents an effortless, secure, and effective way to manage student data.
