Abstract: In today’s competitive job market, organizations face significant challenges in attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent. This paper presents a holistic framework for optimizing the recruitment, selection, and orientation (RSO) process, ensuring that organizations acquire the right candidates and set them up for success. Our approach integrates best practices in employer branding, data-driven recruitment marketing, behavioral-based selection methods, and immersive onboarding experiences. We demonstrate the effectiveness of this framework through a case study of a large organization that achieved significant improvements in time-to-hire, quality of hire, and new hire retention rates. Our findings have important implications for HR practitioners and organizational leaders seeking to enhance their RSO processes and drive business outcomes through strategic talent acquisition.
