Abstract:
Abstract: The digital twin, together with SAP S/4HANA, and GenAI offer the possibility of transforming the overall dynamic of healthcare Supply Chain management through the real-time checking and monitoring of data, decision making, coupled with other analytical features. The purpose of this research is to explore the applicability of digital twins concerning solving problems with optimisation, information interchange and general functioning problems in the sphere of healthcare. The research used an explanatory research design for collecting secondary qualitative and quantitative data. Some of these challenges are high cost, security issues since the technology is open to cyber threats and others are complications in its application. Future studies should be performed on standardising the models, increasing scalability, and perfecting the GenAI algorithms to utilise this technology's maximum potential.
