Abstract:

The Digital Compass sets a goal of increasing business digitization and adoption of artificial intelligence (AI). The use of AI-based technologies like algorithmic management, AI-based robots, and wearables that process data using algorithms is on the rise across nations and industries. This paper presents the primary uses of artificial intelligence-based innovations at work and their effects on work association, working conditions, and morale in light of a writing survey and the findings of exploratory contextual investigations at the organization level. It has been demonstrated that employing AI has a variety of positive and negative effects on workplace organization and conditions, in addition to posing a number of ethical concerns. To address some of these concerns, a set of ethical guidelines and recommendations from public authorities and social partners at the national, international, and EU levels have emerged in recent years.
