Abstract:
Performance Appraisal is a tactical tool to measure the employee performance. This project aims to investigate the productivity of Performance Appraisal systems in evaluating employee performance and identifying areas for improvement. This study analyses the various Performance Appraisal methods, their effectiveness, and their effect on employee motivation and development. It investigates the traditional and modern appraisal techniques, including 360-degree feedback, management by objectives (MBO), and key performance indicators (KPIs). A mixed methods approach was employed, combining surveys and interviews with employees and managers. The study investigates the current performance practices, identifies the strength and weakness, and explores the impact on employee motivation, engagement, and job satisfaction.
