Abstract:
An organization's most valuable asset is its employees. Enhancing their performance is essential for boosting overall organizational productivity. Continuous learning and development provide employees with the necessary skills to perform efficiently in a dynamic business environment. Through training and development programs, organizations can build a highly skilled and competent workforce, leading to improved efficiency and adaptability. This study explores how training and development impact employee performance and contribute to organizational productivity at Dalmia Cement Factory. A descriptive analysis approach was used for the research. Primary data was collected using questionnaires distributed to 96 randomly selected employees. The findings highlight that training and development play a crucial role in enhancing employee performance. They help reduce turnover, increase productivity, and ultimately generate higher financial returns for the organization. The study emphasizes the importance of regularly assessing training programs. It also suggests periodic revisions in salary structures to improve employee motivation and ensure long-term organizational growth.
