Abstract:

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision has enabled real-time facial emotion and gender recognition with high accuracy. This paper presents an AI-based system capable of detecting human emotions and gender from facial images and visualizing the detected emotions using emojis. The system employs deep learning techniques, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), to process facial features and classify emotions into categories such as happiness, sadness, anger, surprise, and neutrality, alongside gender detection. The integration of emoji visualization enhances user interaction and understanding. Experimental results indicate high accuracy in both emotion and gender classification, demonstrating the potential applications of this system in human-computer interaction, social robotics, and digital marketing.
