Abstract:

The "Android-Based Smart Grass Cutter Robot with Obstacle Avoidance Using Ultrasonic Sensor" is an autonomous robotic system designed for efficient lawn maintenance. Controlled through an Android app, the robot offers a user-friendly interface for easy operation, allowing users to control and monitor the grass-cutting process remotely. The robot is equipped with a cutting blade and powered by a DC motor, enabling it to efficiently trim grass in various environments. For enhanced safety and navigation, the robot integrates an ultrasonic sensor for obstacle detection and avoidance, ensuring it can maneuver around objects like trees, walls, and other obstacles without collision. The ultrasonic sensor continuously scans the surrounding environment, enabling the robot to change its path when an obstacle is detected. The robot operates autonomously by following preset routes or user-defined paths, improving both accuracy and efficiency in grass cutting. Additionally, the system is designed to optimize power consumption, making it energy-efficient and capable of long operational durations.
