Abstract:

In this research paper, we explore the application of Lie symmetry analysis to partial differential equations (PDEs) in the modeling of hyperbolic wave interactions. Hyperbolic waves, which describe the propagation of waves in media where the wave speed is constant, play a significant role in various scientific and engineering fields, including acoustics, electromagnetics, fluid dynamics, and geophysics. Lie symmetry analysis offers a powerful method for understanding the symmetries of PDEs, facilitating the identification of exact solutions and reducing the complexity of nonlinear systems. We focus on the application of Lie group transformations to hyperbolic wave equations, providing a systematic approach for solving the equations governing wave interactions.
