Abstract:
ABSTRACT Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are being used in a wide range of sectors, and their applications are growing rapidly. Deployment is one of the most crucial issues in WSNs since the location of the sensor nodes greatly affects system performance. An ideal WSN implementation would maximize the collection of the phenomena of interest, guarantee the required coverage and connectivity, increase the network lifetime, and minimize the energy consumption of the network. In order to compel the sensors to join the network, a linear flight length that rises over iterations was added to the position equationof the initial genetic optimization. The PSO Algorithm is then applied to optimize network coverage while maintaining communication amongst the deployed sensors.
