Abstract:
Abstract: Improving power quality using a FOPID controller is the primary goal of this project, which is a PV-fed fifteen-level cascaded multilevel inverter. Harmonics are a known degrader of power quality in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. In light of this problem, this article's objective is to investigate methods for lowering harmonics in a fifteen-level inverter that is supplied by solar panels. Multiple controllers, including PD-PWM, FLC, ANN, and FOPID (Fractional Order PID), are used in this project. Power quality improves on its own as a result of the reduced harmonic distortion produced by the proposed FOPID controller in comparison to competing models. The PI, FL, ANN, and FOPID controllers are used in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment to create the suggested system.
