Abstract:
ABSTRACT These days, trains are the scene of numerous incidents. The mishaps were caused by track breaking and a failure to identify opposing trains on the same track at the same time. The train disaster claimed the biggest number of lives. Human error and poor communication from the Train Traffic Control Station (TTCS) were the main causes of accidents. We developed sensors that can swiftly identify cracks in railroad tracks and find the opposite train on the same track in order to circumvent this problem. The project's objective is to design and build a low-cost, highly dependable, integrity-preserving system that will enhance trains' capacity to detect track problems and prevent collisions in adverse weather conditions, such as fog or rain. We used a vibration sensor and an Atmegha328p CPU to stop train collisions and track cracking. In order to prevent train accidents, we employ GPS and GSM in this study to alert the driver and station master.
